In December 2023 Patras Municipality contracted TRIAINA S.A. to regenerate Patras Old Municipal Hospital into Exhibition Facility and Museum, consisting of 3,883 m2, on an 1.2-acre site, in Patras Upper City, on a budget of 10,696,860€, within an 18-month timeline. It is a group of neoclassical buildings designated as a grade II – listed, historical monument and a work of art. Its south side was probably designed in 1857 by the leading representative of neoclassicism and historicism Danish architect Theophil Hansen. Hansen also realized monuments in Athens and Vienna, such as the National Observatory in Athens, the National Library of Greece, the Academy of Athens, Zappeion and the Mavromichali Mansion. The Hansen part of Patras Old Municipal Hospital is protected by the state. The rest of the group’s buildings were realized later on, and they are all regarded as a complete, grade II – listed, historical monument and a work of art. The Exhibition Facility will take up the ground floor of the Hansen building. The City’s Audiovisual Heritage Digital Center will be realized in the eastern part of the block, while the western part will be rearranged into artistic creative workshops. The planning permission includes refectory, conference and office spaces, as well as the required electromechanical installations. All required mild restoring and restructuring, as well as Persons-with-Disabilities-access interventions have been implemented in the existing areas which change use and in the new areas, including the restoration of the timber load-bearing roof frame, and the construction of reinforced concrete mezzanines in such a way that they neither intervene with the existing cornices, nor they accentuate existing building height. Patras Old Municipal Hospital is an exquisite precedent of neoclassical architecture. Its rehabilitation will boost tourism and social engagement in Patras Upper City. TRIAINA S.A. undertook construction works and electromechanical installations of an approximately 1,200m2 fish farming packaging and depository building, and landscape works on a 11.5-acre site, in Sayada, Thesprotia, Northwestern Greece.
It is a combined structure of structural-steel frame and envelope consisting of side and roof PVC panels, freezing / preservation / ice chambers, while major production floor areas bare epoxy treatment. health interest facilities

Renovation / reconstruction of the neoclassical grade I – listed building on 278, Corinthou Street, in the historic city centre of Patras, in August 2023. TRIAINA S.A. initiated reconstruction works & electromechanical installations of renovation, as well as adding a new lift in the listed building making it Persons-with-Disabilities accessible, all extending up to 635m2. Architects and engineers of TRIAINA S.A. produced planning permission of uniting the two stores in the ground-floor storey, while turning the first-floor store into four independent office venues to rent. The building had been left derelict for a long time. TRIAINA S.A. began restoring the original facade, as well as replacing the roof respecting its original form using identically-colored french roof tiles. The facade is characterized by a centripetal portico with its masterfully iron-railed balcony extending over the street. The balcony rests on three beams carved in Dionysos marble. The facade also imposes four modest marble capitals at the height of the portico, along with plaster cornices. The entrance to the first floor is through a beautiful wood-paneled double-leaf door with brass knobs and a protective railing on the skylight. It is a significant and impressive precedent of neoclassical architecture, set to be delivered in the coming months.

In August 2023 TRIAINA S.A. realised a new industrial facility on behalf of HelNet HELLENIC NETLOFTS in New Selefkia, Igoumenitsa Municipality, in northwestern Greece. The company manufactures nets covering a wide spectrum of uses, such as net cages for fish farming, safety nets for athleisure, recreation and construction, nets for naval architecture, and nets for cargo transportation and agriculture. The building consists of the ground-storey manufacturing area, office and personnel spaces, as well as the provision of a future first-floor office area. Construction works and electromechanical installations took up approximately 1,000m2, an equally sized shed, and landscape works of approximately 4,000m2 on a 10,000-acre site. Official opening of new preserving-processing-distributing-products-of-health-interest facility in Aspropyrgos, Attica. MED FRIGO S.A. officially operated their newest facilities of a total area of 2,625 m2 in August 2023. TRIAINA S.A. architects and engineers produced planning permission and construction blueprints of the new facility, which comprises of a health-interest storage area and office/personnel spaces in the ground and first floor, respectively. The building was realised as a structural-steel framework, composite slabs, side and roof PVC paneling, and external insulation wall cladding system. In June 2023 TRIAINA S.A. electrical engineers attended a certified seminar by the Technical Chamber of Greece regarding a specialised cost-benefit study using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to produce prerequisite construction detail documentation of public tenders, Thursday, the 29th of June 2023, under EU BIM Task Group. The seminar intends to highlight BIM advantages within construction detail documentation, in all phases of building realisation of public tenders, from bidding, to completion and maintenance. Moreover, in July 2023, the department of project, construction and public works management & technical support succeeded in the examinations of the following modules: Lift Installation, Repair and Maintenance Specialist for Low Energy Consumption Liftng Systems of the Energy and Environment Sector (certification scheme according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17024 and the special Regulation for Certification of Persons ΕΚΠΦΠ-EnE, version 2.6/18/01/2023). corporate training
In June 2023 TRIAINA S.A. was officially assigned to realise the expansion of Paxman Ltd manufacturing company of beverage compounds, in Patras Industrial Area. The two-storey industrial facility consists of 1,084 m2 ground-floor area, and 526 m2 first-floor area, on a privately-owned 2-acre site. TRIAINA S.A. has assumed all construction works & electromechanical installations. The facility will serve as product-freezing, manufacturing, and storage chambers, as well as office headquarters.
The IQFOIL Class European Championships 2023 was held in Patras, Greece, under Patras Sailing Club, from the 6th until the 14th of May. TRIAINA S.A. assumed official sponsorship. In May 2022 Patras Municipality authorised TRIAINA S.A. to convert and regenerate the derelict ASO Warehouses, which used to belong to the prior Independent Currant Crop Organisation (Α.Σ.Ο.) into a multi-functional facility, which will accommodate theatrical, exhibition, sports and dining activities, on an 8.5-acre site. The existing and new building contract consists of 5,500 m2 construction works on a composite reinforced-concrete and structural-steel building frame of ground floor with mezzanine and basement parts, in Ities, Patras Municipality, Achaea Prefecture.
In May 2022 TRIAINA S.A. broke ground on a 53-acre, privately owned site to build a new, single-storey industrial facility for leading dairy manufacturer company DODONI S.A. The facility comprises of 1,110m2 ground floor and 385 m2 of basement, in Eleousa, Zitsa Municipality, Ioannina Prefecture. It’s a composite structure, hence a total of 798m2 of the ground floor area is being constructed of structural-steel framework, while reinforced concrete makes up for the rest of the ground floor and the basement. In February 2022 TRIAINA S.A. undertook the construction of 4,605 m2 two-storey, structural-steel-framed building within privately owned land of 23 acres, in Pyrgos, Lefktro Municipality, Messinia Prefecture. TRIAINA S.A. assumed the restoration of the two-storey historic Bulgari School, which was donated by Sotirios Bulgaris, the creator of Bulgari, one of the most famous jewelery brands to date. The building consists of 1.045 m2, including basement. The contract also assigns the company with the reabilitation of the building’s surrounding landscape. TRIAINA S.A. was contracted by Paramythia town, part of Souli Municipality, December 2021. The Bulgari School building will serve as Paramythia’s Cultural Centre of Arts, History, and Education in the town of Paramythia, Souli Municipality, Thesprotia Prefecture.

Development of innovating sustainable solutions based on nanotechnology towards energy-effective building design based on nanotechnological materials. TRIAINA S.A. architects and mechanical engineers collaborated with Western Greece University of applied technology (former TEI of Western Greece) in June 2013 to produce a common proposal for Westeern Greece Peripheral Administration towards the “Development of innovating sustainable solutions based on nanotechnology towards energy effective building design based on nanotechnological materials” (Θ.Π. 04.04.01.01), as part of the National Strategic Reference Framework in Western Greece – Peloponnese – Ionian Islands 2007 – 2013. Target of initiative is the development of a certain methodology of applied nanolayers on exterior shell of new and old buildings, based on specific architectural specifications and legal context.
